Unity Cup 2025: Eric Chelle Extends Invitation To NPFL Stars For London Tournament

Super Eagles coach Eric Chelle has named a strong squad of NPFL players for the upcoming Unity Cup in London, set to take place later this month. The invitational tournament will feature fierce rivals Ghana, Jamaica, and Trinidad & Tobago.

Coach Chelle is using the tournament as part of Nigeria’s preparations for the 2025 CHAN, which will be jointly hosted by Kenya, Tanzania, and Uganda in August. Notably, Chelle will also lead the home-based Super Eagles at the CHAN finals.

Among the call-ups is Daniel “Papa” Mustapha of Niger Tornadoes, who was part of the Super Eagles squad during the World Cup qualifiers against Rwanda and Zimbabwe in March.
