NPFL: Nasarawa United Receives Reward In Cash For Victory Over Plateau United

Nasarawa United players have been rewarded with a cash sum of N3.5 million following their thrilling Matchday 33 victory over Plateau United.

The reward was presented by the state governor, Abdullahi Sule, alongside the Commissioner for Youth and Sports Development, Hon. Kwanta Yakubu, after the game on Sunday.

Goals from Anas Yusuf and a brace from Ugochukwu Leonard secured a 3-2 win for the Solid Miners at the Lafia City Stadium, earning them three crucial points against the Peace Boys.

With the victory, Nasarawa United climbed to 14th on the Nigeria Premier Football League table, amassing a total of 42 points from 33 matches so far this season.

The team will look to continue their momentum when they face Bendel Insurance in their next league fixture on Saturday.
