Osimhen Moves Third On Galatasaray’s All-Time Foreign Scorers’ List

1 Min Read

Victor Osimhen has moved up to third on Galatasaray’s all-time foreign goalscorers’ list after taking his goal tally for the Turkish club to 62.

The Nigeria international now sits behind two of Galatasaray’s biggest foreign stars, Gheorghe Hagi and Mauro Icardi, in a ranking that highlights the impact he has made since joining the Istanbul club.

Hagi scored 72 goals during his Galatasaray career, while Icardi leads the list with 77.

Osimhen is therefore just 10 goals away from matching Hagi and 15 short of drawing level with Icardi.

The Nigerian striker would need 16 more goals to surpass Icardi and become Galatasaray’s outright highest-scoring foreign player.

His latest milestone adds to an already impressive goalscoring record in Istanbul, where Osimhen has quickly established himself as one of the club’s leading attacking players.

With 62 goals already to his name, attention will now turn to whether the 27-year-old can close the gap on Hagi and Icardi.

A continued run of goals could see Osimhen move into second place before setting his sights on the club’s foreign goalscoring record.
