Nigeria’s quest for continental glory has officially begun, with the Super Falcons opening their training camp in Casablanca, Morocco, ahead of the 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON).
The first batch of players has reported to camp as preparations gather pace for Africa’s biggest women’s football tournament, with several of the team’s biggest stars already in place.
Captain Rasheedat Ajibade headlines the early arrivals alongside reigning CAF Women’s Goalkeeper of the Year Chiamaka Nnadozie and six-time African Women’s Footballer of the Year Asisat Oshoala.
Also present in camp are defenders Glory Ogbonna, Oluwatosin Demehin, and Rofiat Imuran, while midfielders Christy Ucheibe and Shukurat Oladipo have also joined the squad.
Fatima Oloko completes the list of players who have arrived for the opening phase of preparations.
The early arrivals offer an encouraging boost for the Super Falcons’ technical crew, allowing the team to begin training sessions and gradually build intensity ahead of the tournament.
