Getafe president Ángel Torres has confirmed that the Spanish club is prepared to listen to offers for Nigerian midfielder Uche Chrisantus during the summer transfer window, provided a suitable bid is submitted.
The 23-year-old Super Eagles international returned to Getafe after an underwhelming loan spell at Crystal Palace, where he was unable to meet the appearance requirements needed to activate a €20 million permanent transfer clause.

Speaking on the player’s future, Torres suggested that Chrisantus is available for transfer, with Getafe reportedly valuing the midfielder at around €15 million.
The Nigerian midfielder had pushed for a move to the Premier League last summer in search of a new challenge. However, limited playing opportunities at Crystal Palace prevented him from establishing himself in England, ultimately leading to his return to Spain.
His lack of regular football also affected his international career, with Chrisantus falling out of contention for the Super Eagles during that period under head coach Eric Chelle.
Despite Getafe’s willingness to negotiate his departure, reports suggest Chrisantus would prefer to remain at the club and fight for his place in the squad as he looks to rebuild his career following a difficult season.

Interest in the versatile midfielder has already begun to emerge, with fellow La Liga side Real Betis reportedly monitoring his situation ahead of a possible move.
Torres acknowledged Chrisantus’ quality, describing him as one of Getafe’s most valuable assets, while also admitting that a transfer would provide the club with an important financial boost and offer the player an opportunity to secure more consistent first-team football elsewhere.
Known for his technical ability, composure in midfield, and tireless work rate, Chrisantus remains a highly regarded talent despite his recent struggles. At just 23 years old, he still has ample time to rediscover the form that earned him international recognition with Nigeria.
As the summer transfer window gathers momentum, all eyes will be on the Nigerian midfielder’s future. Whether he stays at Getafe to compete for a place or embarks on a fresh challenge elsewhere in Europe is expected to become clearer in the coming weeks.
