Juventus are reportedly exploring a strategy to sign Napoli striker Victor Osimhen next summer, with defender Federico Gatti potentially included in the deal to ease negotiations.
The Bianconeri see Osimhen as a crucial addition to their attacking lineup but recognize the difficulties in prying him away from their Serie A rivals. Napoli remains reluctant to sell their star forward to a direct competitor, especially given his role in their 2023 Scudetto-winning campaign.
According to Tuttosport, Juventus are willing to offer Gatti as part of the deal, knowing that Napoli’s newly appointed coach, Antonio Conte, is an admirer of the defender. With Napoli also pursuing Torino’s Alessandro Buongiorno, adding Gatti could help bolster their backline and make negotiations more favorable.
Juventus’ interest in Osimhen aligns with their plans to restructure their attack, as they look to offload Dusan Vlahovic and extend Randal Kolo Muani’s loan deal with Paris Saint-Germain. However, whether Napoli will be open to the swap deal remains to be seen, especially with Osimhen attracting interest from other top European clubs.
