Former Nigeria U-20 striker, Muhammed Tijani, is keen to surpass the impressive performances of his former compatriots at Slavia Prague after signing a long-term deal with the Czech Republic giants.
Nigerian striker, Muhamed Tijani, have resumed pre-season with his new clubside Sportovní klub Slavia Praha – fotbal ahead of the 2023/2024 Czech Republic Fortuna Liga Season.
The Nigerian international who joined Slavia Prague from FC Baník Ostrava alongside his fellow compatriot, Igoh Ogbu reported back to team up with the rest of the squad after few weeks of holidaying in native towns in Nigeria after a long season.
Tijani, brimming with enthusiasm, welcomed the challenge, stating, “I am thrilled by this opportunity. Joining Slavia is precisely the kind of challenge I sought after. I eagerly anticipate the European matches and the support of the fans.
“My aspiration is to become the top scorer in the league one day. I know Igoh from our time in the youth team, and he holds a special place in my heart.
According to pictures shared on Sportovní klub Slavia Praha – fotbal Instagram handle, the Nigerian striker, Muhamed Tijani, and his new fellow compatriot, Igoh Ogbu who joined Slavia Prague from Lillestrøm participated in the gym session.
Joining from Banik Ostrava after a season breakout, Tijani is tipped to flourish in the colours of Slavia Prague as he is looked forward to fill the space created following the transfer of fellow compatriot, Peter Olayinka.
