Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen appears to be a financial catalyst for Turkish Super Lig giants Galatasaray. Reports from Turkish media suggest the club has already “raked in” over €31 million in revenue linked to the massive transfer, from the Champions League, including his appearance fee and two wins and also the club’s successful season.
The significant amount of money was for his goals in both the league and the Champions League. Osimhen, who played a key role in last season’s championship, earned the club €18.8 million in fees for his entry into the Champions League, the revenue figures seem to reflect the club’s financial status being boosted.

Thus, Osimhen’s contribution from the Champions League alone reached €23 million. Galatasaray, continuing its undefeated run in the league, is confidently striving for another championship under Osimhen’s leadership.
This was boosted by an additional €4.2 million earned from victories (over teams like Liverpool and Bodo/Glimt) in the competition.

Capitalizing on the high-profile transfer, President Dursun Özbek ordered a special run of 40,000 units of Osimhen kits, masks, and other merchandise. These items, sold at GS Stores, have contributed a further massive 400 million lira to the club’s coffers, demonstrating the hype surrounding the transfer of red-hot super eagles striker.
