Super Eagles technical adviser Gernot Rohr has decided to hand call up to three NPFL stars to the Super Eagles training camp in France.
According to aoifootball that the three NPFL players, whose names will be released officially by the Super Eagles team secretary next week are Alhassan Ibrahim popularly called ‘Muazam’ of Akwa United who has scored 10 goals with 6 assist in the Nigeria premier league this season.

The second player on the list is Sikiru Olatunbosun of MFM FC who scored a goal that won the CNN goal of the week earlier in this season. Sikiru is now being called the nick name ‘CNN’ for that exploits by his teammates at MFM FC.
The last player on the list is FC Ifeanyi Ubah goalkeeper Ikechukwu Ezenwa who is a regular invitee and super eagles 3rd choice goalkeeper, also the captain of Nigeria home based Eagles.

However, NPFL leading goal scorer with 14 goals from in the first round of the league Stephen Odey was not invited because he had submitted his passport to the Danish Embassy for a possible transfer to the Danish league and as such, the goal poacher will not be part of the super eagles training camp in france ahead of the two (2) int’l friendly and all important AFCON 2019 qualifier against South Africa.
