Super Falcons defender Ashleigh Plumptre has signed a contract extension with Al Ittihad Ladies, committing her future to the Saudi Women’s Premier League club until 2028.
The 28-year-old Nigerian international has been one of the standout performers for the Jeddah-based side since joining from Leicester City in the summer of 2023, establishing herself as both a leader on and off the pitch.
Al Ittihad confirmed the extension on Thursday with an official announcement, unveiling a promotional graphic of Plumptre wearing the club’s iconic yellow-and-black striped jersey.
