Czech Chance Liga club MFK Karviná have officially completed the signing of Nigerian winger James Bello on a season-long loan from Viktoria Plzeň, providing the talented attacker with another opportunity to continue his development at the highest level of Czech football.
The 21-year-old forward will spend the 2026/27 season with Karviná as he looks to gain regular first-team football after finding opportunities limited at Viktoria Plzeň. The loan move is expected to run until the summer of 2027, giving Bello the platform to establish himself in the Czech top flight.
Standing at 180cm, Bello is capable of playing on the left wing or as a forward, offering versatility, pace, and technical quality in the final third. His ability to take on defenders and create scoring opportunities has made him one of Nigeria’s promising young attacking talents abroad.
Bello joined Viktoria Plzeň in 2023 from Nigeria’s Right2Win Academy, having previously featured for Badgers FC during his early development. Earlier in 2026, he gained valuable competitive experience during a loan spell with Czech second-division side Táborsko, where he continued to adapt to European football.
Now, with MFK Karviná competing in the Czech Chance Liga, Bello has the opportunity to test himself consistently at the top level. The club will be hoping his pace, creativity, and attacking flair can strengthen their forward line throughout the campaign.
