Nigerian forward Mmesoma Umejiego has completed a move to Albanian top-flight side KF Teuta Durrës from fellow Albanian club KF Apolonia Fier, taking another important step in his growing European career.
The 23-year-old striker, who was born in Enugu State, has signed for Teuta ahead of the new season as the club looks to strengthen its attacking options in the Albanian Kategoria Superiore.
Standing at an imposing 2.03 metres (6ft 8in), Umejiego has built a reputation as a physically dominant centre-forward capable of troubling defenders with his aerial ability, hold-up play, and finishing inside the penalty area.
