Victor Osimhen’s remarkable rise at Galatasaray has made him one of the most sought-after players in world football, with several European giants reportedly monitoring the Nigerian striker ahead of the summer transfer window.
The Super Eagles star has enjoyed a sensational spell in Turkey since initially joining Galatasaray on loan in 2024 before making the move permanent a year later.
Since arriving in Istanbul, Osimhen has established himself as one of the game’s most prolific forwards, scoring an impressive 59 goals in 74 appearances across all competitions.
His goals have been instrumental in Galatasaray’s recent success, helping the Turkish giants secure two league titles and a Turkish Cup triumph while cementing his status as a fan favourite.

Speaking to Marca, Garcia highlighted the unique qualities that separate Osimhen from many of his contemporaries.
“We have very top-level players, but in my opinion, Osimhen is among the world’s top three to five strikers,” Garcia said via Forza Cimbom.
The Spaniard praised not only Osimhen’s goalscoring ability but also his relentless work ethic and physical presence.
“He possesses an extremely high level and impressive physical strength. He presses, he defends, and he has the ability to influence the opposing defence even in moments when he’s not heavily involved in the game,” Garcia added.
Those attributes have made Osimhen an attractive prospect for several elite clubs looking to strengthen their attacking options.
Manchester United are reportedly keen on bringing the Nigerian to Old Trafford as they search for a reliable goalscorer to lead their attack.
Real Madrid are also believed to be monitoring developments closely, while Atlético Madrid have identified Osimhen as a potential replacement should Julián Álvarez depart this summer.
A move to Atlético could also see Osimhen reunite with fellow Nigerian international Ademola Lookman, adding another intriguing dimension to the transfer speculation.
Meanwhile, Barcelona, Arsenal, Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain have all been linked with the prolific striker, with reports suggesting that any interested club may need to meet a valuation in the region of €150 million to convince Galatasaray to sell.
