The Super Eagles camp in Rabat, Morocco, has come alive ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup playoffs, with vice captain Wilfred Ndidi leading the cast of players already to hit camp along with the Fulham trio of Alex Iwobi, Calvin Bassey, and Samuel Chukwueze.
Also on camp is FC Krasnodar of Russia forward Olakunle Olusegun and Wolverhampton Wanderers’ Tolu Arokodare.
More players are expected to arrive on Monday morning, with full training to begin on Tuesday morning.
The Eagles will hold a closed-door session on Wednesday ahead of their fixtures against a Gabon side spearheaded by Olympique Marseille star Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
The former Arsenal forward is one of the experienced stars named in a 24-man squad on Thursday by the head coach.
The flesh against against Gabon will be held at the Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium in Rabat.
Cameroon and the Democratic People’s Republic of Congo will square off in the other playoff semifinal game.
The winner over two legs will progress to the intercontinental playoffs in March 2026 to be held in Mexico.
