Super Falcons captain Rasheedat Ajibade has opened her goalscoring account for Paris Saint-Germain, finding the net in their 2–1 UEFA Women’s Champions League loss to Real Madrid Femenino on Wednesday night.

The Nigerian star scored her first goal in her sixth appearance for the French giants, heading home at the far post to reduce the deficit after PSG had gone 2–0 down. Her goal sparked hopes of a comeback, but Real Madrid held firm to secure a vital win.

With the strike, Ajibade joins the list of Nigerians who have scored for PSG, including Jay-Jay Okocha, Bartholomew Ogbeche, and Jennifer Echegini.
