Super Eagles winger Olakunle Olusegun has completed a loan move from FC Krasnodar to fellow Russian Premier League side FC Pari Nizhny Novgorod, in a deal that will see him stay with the club until June 30, 2026.
Krasnodar confirmed the transfer on Thursday via its official social media channels, stating:
“Olakunle Olusegun is joining Pari NN on loan. He will spend the rest of the season with the Nizhny Novgorod club. The loan deal runs until June 30, 2026.”
The 22-year-old Nigerian forward joined Krasnodar in the 2021/22 season from Bulgarian club Botev Plovdiv and has since racked up 100 appearances, netting 12 goals and contributing 6 assists for the Russian outfit.
Known for his pace and direct style of play, Olusegun rose to prominence with Nigeria’s Golden Eaglets and later earned his senior national team debut in a friendly clash against Russia.
This move offers Olusegun a fresh opportunity for regular first-team football as he looks to reignite his form and push for more involvement with the Super Eagles ahead of upcoming international competitions.
