Management of Rangers Int’l Football Club Enugu have appreciated their teeming fans for their massive support and solidarity in their recent two home matches of the NPFL. In separate chats with Rangers Media, Super fans of Rangers Int’l FC, Chief Ken Ani and Barrister Ugwuozor commended fans and supporters of Rangers for their undying and consistent support of the once dreaded club, moreso now that the Coal City club is fighting hard to remain in the elite league and protect the image it has garnered over the years as the only Professional club in Nigeria that has not gone on relegation since inception.
Chief Ani who has been a core super fan of Coal City fan for past ten years expressed optimism that with the sustained support and passion constantly exhibited by Rangers fans and supporters in the last three home matches nothing that this show of solidarity has galvanized the players to commendable action in securing good results at home and away matches thus momentarily getting the team out of the woods.
He urged all lovers and fans of Rangers to come out fully now to lend their support to the team especially now the league is on the last stretch with four matches to the end of the league.
Messrs Ugwuozor and Ken Ani appealed to Local Government committee Chairmen in Enugu State to show solidarity to the team galvanizing and mobilizing fans from their areas and hiring buses to convey fans and supporters to both Rangers home and away matches in the remaining league matches. Rangers Int’l FC is currently placed 13th on the league log with 46 points from 34 matches.
