Obinna Eleje Celebrates a goal

Katsina United big striker Obinna Eleje has said he has been lifted after his match winner against Niger Tornadoes in midweek. It was the fourth goal in the NPFL this season by the former Enyimba strikers.

“It’s a great feeling to score the all-important goal for my team against a stubborn Tornadoes side. This goal will boost my morale and confidence to score more goals as the season progresses,” he said.

“I know I was going to score, that’s why I was anxious to come in from the bench. “My coach Baldwin Bazuaye also told me that the goal is in my body, so I should go in and score and I am very happy I scored that vital goal.

“That was my fourth goal of the season, gradually, I am getting closer to my target for the season which is to get a double figure and am very optimistic that I’ll reach it soon.”

The energetic striker went ahead to dedicate the goal to his teammates who believe in him.

“I dedicate that goal to my team mates who believe so much in me and I pray God almighty will continue to strengthen me so I can continue to make them proud,” he concluded.
