Over past weekend football team of Philadelphia Fury showed tactical and technical supremacy as they descend heavily on SGFC Eagles of Maryland with a wide goal margin at Rowan University Sports Stadium.
Both teams are league leaders in their own respects with the Fury boasting an undefeated record and SGFC having won all their games but one, tying the AFC Lancaster Lions.

The SGFC Eagles have shown impressive strength during their first season in the ASL having Obatola Gabriel and Ranti Martins as new sign on forwards.  Although, The Fury teams is a more mannered conservative type in the way they showcase their game patterns.  Fury side have shown consistent play scoring and average of 5 goals per game throughout the season.

According to our sports correspondence Rotimi Omope reported that  When preparing for the game, Scott McCoubrey, of the Fury gave us this insight; “As a team, All  we do is to always and are approaching it the same as we would any other game. Of course we are aware of SGFC Eagles of Maryland, their midfielder are powerful and athletic and we respect their strengths. We know it’s an important game but our focus is the same as always and our tactics worked for us perfectly to humiliate a very decent side.

Coach Richard Opanuga and Coach  Paul Ocampo
Coach Richard Opanuga confirmed to us that the game was in favour of Philadelphia Fury as they dominated our session. The defeat was a shock and eye opener to all members of our team. The team is going back to the drawing board and work harder with the players to excel better and we are committed to change and bring on positive attitude to redeem our winning tradition.

SGFC Eagles promised its fans a victory in the return match against Fury in their home stadium.  We will start this weekend to win the MASS UNITED FC at our home. A consolatory goal for SGFC Eagles scored by Ranti Martins who is making his debut and assisted by another debutant Gabriel Obatola.
