Following the match, the focus will shift to the national convention at the V.I.P. lounge of the Stephen Keshi Stadium at 10 a.m. According to SWAN President, Comrade Isaiah Benjamin, the convention will be a key forum for members to address critical issues within the sports journalism industry and determine the association’s future direction.

Both the novelty match and the national convention underscore SWAN’s commitment to supporting the National Youth Games, an event dedicated to promoting youth development in sports and national unity. The events are expected to be a major highlight on the sports calendar, bringing together journalists, athletes, and stakeholders to champion sports excellence in Nigeria.
