OSIMHEN SNUBS €30M SAUDI OFFER, KEEPS EYES ON EUROPE

Victor Osimhen has turned down a mouthwatering €30 million-per-year deal from Saudi Arabian side Al-Hilal, despite the club triggering his €75 million release clause with Napoli.

The Nigerian forward, who remains one of the most sought-after strikers in world football, is said to have rejected the offer without flinching, making it clear that his priority is still Europe.

Al-Hilal had hoped to tempt the Super Eagles star with financial muscle, but Osimhen stood firm, choosing footballing ambition over fortune, even as Saudi clubs continue to raid top talent across Europe.

Sources close to the deal say Al-Hilal is not backing down just yet. Reports suggest the Saudi giants are preparing a fresh package worth €50 million annually, in a desperate attempt to land the Napoli hitman.

Osimhen, who has already caught the attention of Manchester United, Liverpool, and Juventus, is expected to make a final decision before Napoli’s preseason begins. Galatasaray, where he impressed on loan, are also interested in keeping him permanently.

At 26, Osimhen is at the peak of his powers. While Napoli has given the green light for a sale, the striker isn’t willing to sacrifice competition level for cash, not just yet.

With suitors lining up and Saudi Arabia lurking with a fatter cheque, the race for Osimhen’s signature is heating up. And this time, it’s not just about the money, but it’s about legacy.
