YOBO Football Club, a non-league club bankrolled by ex Super Eagles captain and Everton defender, Joseph Yobo has been sent packing from the 2017 edition of the Lagos State Federations Cup,
The club managed by his brother, Edwin Yobo and Coach by Harry, were dumped out of the tournament by fellow non-league side, Moonluck FC via penalties after full time score stood at 0-0.

Coach Harry express his disappointment with his striker, my attackers wasted several scoring chances and we could not penetrate the defence line of our opponents effectively but that is football and i am not too angry about the game as a team and also as a player is one of the things you face in your career, you will win some and you lose some. But right now we go back home, correct our errors and concentrate on other games ahead of us and our pre – season games.

Moonluck FC goalkeeper was the hero of the game after he stopped FC Yobo sixth penalty as it ended 5-4 in their favour. Moonluck FC have advanced to the round of 32.
The winner and runners-up from the Lagos zone will compete in the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) Federations Cup.
