The leadership of Excel All Stars FC recently embarked on a strategic courtesy visit to the Kwara Football Academy (KFA) to formally welcome and engage with the newly appointed Administrator/CEO, Mr. Wale Obalola.
The high-powered delegation, led by Club President Honourable Alaya and Board of Trustees (BOT) Chairman Mr. Yinka Umar, signaled a renewed commitment to fostering a collaborative environment between the veteran football community and the state’s premier football institution.
The meeting served as both a celebratory introduction and a forum for constructive dialogue regarding the future of local football infrastructure.
Honourable Alaya officially congratulated Mr. Obalola on his appointment, expressing the club’s confidence in his ability to steer the Academy toward greater heights.
A primary focus of the discussion was the maintenance and upkeep of Pitch B. As a key training ground for Excel All Stars FC every Saturday morning, the President stressed the importance of preserving the pitch to ensure it remains a top-tier facility for talent development.
Both the President and the BOT Chairman, Mr. Yinka Umar, reaffirmed the club’s readiness to partner with the Academy. They encouraged the Administrator to leverage his vast expertise to modernize the Academy’s facilities.
