Warri Wolves have declared forward Ezegbu Divine Justice absent without official leave (AWOL) following his unexplained absence from the club’s camp for the past three weeks.
The Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) side disclosed that the player has failed to report to camp or communicate with the club’s management throughout the period.
According to the Seasiders, Justice left the team’s camp without permission, and his current whereabouts remain unknown.
The club expressed concern over the situation and called on the player to return immediately to explain the circumstances surrounding his absence.
Warri Wolves also appealed to members of the public who may have credible information about the player’s whereabouts to contact the club through its official communication channels.
The development comes as Warri Wolves continue their preparations for the ongoing NPFL campaign.
The club is expected to take the matter seriously, particularly as the player has reportedly spent three weeks away from the team without providing an official explanation.
Unexplained absence from training and team activities can disrupt preparations, especially during a demanding league season when coaches need their available players to maintain fitness and match readiness.
However, Warri Wolves have not disclosed whether any formal disciplinary proceedings have been initiated against Justice or whether the player has made contact with the club since the announcement.

For now, the club’s immediate demand is for the player to return to camp and clarify his absence.
The announcement comes ahead of Warri Wolves’ Matchday 11 fixture against Plateau United on Sunday.
The Seasiders face a difficult away assignment as they look to improve their position in the league and respond to recent setbacks.
Warri Wolves have also been dealing with disciplinary issues following the incidents that occurred after their Matchday 10 goalless draw against Kano Pillars in Ozoro.
The NPFL subsequently imposed a ₦4.2 million fine, deducted three points and three goals from the club’s accumulated tally, and ordered the team to play its next three home matches behind closed doors.
The club has appealed the sanctions, seeking leniency based on its efforts to identify and apprehend the individual accused of assaulting a match official.
Despite the challenges, the Seasiders must now concentrate on their league campaign, beginning with Sunday’s encounter against Plateau United.
Warri Wolves will hope to put the off-field developments behind them and secure a positive result against Plateau United.
The absence of Ezegbu Divine Justice adds another issue for the club to address as the season progresses, although the full circumstances surrounding his situation remain unclear.
The Seasiders will be looking for a strong response on the pitch while awaiting further developments regarding the player’s return.
For Justice, the club has made its position clear: he is expected to report to camp immediately and provide an explanation for his unauthorised absence.
