Victor Osimhen’s impressive goalscoring form for Galatasaray has been overshadowed by controversy after Villarreal manager Iñigo Pérez accused the Nigerian striker of attacking one of his players during a fiery pre-season encounter.
Osimhen scored for Galatasaray in the 2-1 defeat to Villarreal at RAMS Park, but the Super Eagles forward was also involved in an altercation with Villarreal defender Santiago Mouriño that drew strong criticism from the Spanish club’s manager.
