Nigerian striker Lucky Ezeh has completed a permanent transfer to Czech First League newcomers FC Zbrojovka Brno from fellow Czech side MFK Karviná, marking a new chapter in the forward’s growing European career.

The transfer was confirmed on June 13, 2026, with the 22-year-old attacker joining Brno on a multi-year deal as the club prepares for its return to the Czech top flight following promotion.

Standing at 1.87 metres, Ezeh arrives with a reputation for combining pace, strength, and versatility across the front line. The Plateau State-born forward has steadily built his profile since moving to Europe, and Brno views him as an important addition to their squad ahead of the 2026/27 campaign.

Ezeh’s football journey has been an unconventional one. After emerging from the Nigerian youth football scene, he spent time within the academy structure of Atlético Madrid before securing a move to Karviná in 2022.

During his spell with Karviná, the Nigerian made more than 75 league appearances and gained valuable experience in Czech football. A loan move to Slovak outfit Dukla Banská Bystrica in 2025 proved particularly successful, with Ezeh scoring five goals in 12 appearances and demonstrating the attacking qualities that attracted Brno’s interest.

Brno earned promotion to the Czech First League after an outstanding 2025/26 season, finishing top of the second tier with 76 points. The club is now focused on strengthening its squad to ensure it can compete effectively in the country’s highest division.

For Nigerian football, Ezeh’s transfer is another example of talented young players continuing to develop across Europe. Consistent performances in the Czech First League could further elevate his profile and potentially place him on the radar of Super Eagles coach Eric Chelle in the future.

As Brno prepares for life among the Czech elite, supporters will be hoping Lucky Ezeh can provide the goals and physical presence needed to help the club secure its status in the division and build on the momentum of promotion.
