Special recognition was also given to Hon. Kunle Soname for hosting the 2026 Super 4 competition at the ultra-modern Remo Stars Stadium.

The NNL leadership further lauded the synergy between the board and the National Association of League Commissioners (NALCOMA), expressing optimism that this collaboration would solidify during the upcoming 2026/2027 campaign. While acknowledging the proactive efforts of referees and match commissioners, the board noted that “more room for improvement” remains a priority for officiating standards.
