Nigerian striker Paul Onuachu delivered another outstanding performance as Trabzonspor defeated Kayserispor 3–1 in a thrilling Turkish Süper Lig clash at the RHG Enertürk Enerji Stadyumu on March 9.
The towering 6’7″ Nigerian forward scored twice in first-half stoppage time to put Trabzonspor firmly in control despite the team playing most of the match with ten men.
Onuachu found the net in the 45+2 minute before calmly converting a penalty in the 45+7 minute, sending his side into halftime with a commanding 2–0 lead.
His latest double extended an incredible seven-game scoring streak, a milestone that had not been achieved by a Trabzonspor player in 14 years.

Onuachu’s brace took his tally to 20 goals in the 2025–26 Süper Lig season, alongside two assists, giving him 22 goal contributions in just 22 appearances.
The 31-year-old Super Eagles striker has been instrumental in Trabzonspor’s title ambitions since returning to the club after spells with Southampton F.C. and Royal Antwerp F.C.
His combination of aerial dominance, physical strength, and clinical finishing has made him one of the most feared forwards in the Turkish league this season.
