The Confederation of African Football (CAF) was quick to laud the three-time champions for their sartorial elegance. In a series of high-profile social media posts featuring a dedicated arrival video, CAF declared: “Nobody does it like Naija. We’re so glad you’re here… Nigeria nailed every detail.”
While several nations opted for regional traditional wear, Nigeria’s ensemble stood out for its seamless blend of cultural pride and modern tailoring. The arrival marks a transition from the team’s final preparations in Egypt, where they recently faced the Pharaohs in a high-intensity friendly. Despite a 2–1 loss—with Chidozie Awaziem providing the lone Nigerian goal—the squad displayed a resilient spirit that they now carry into Group C.
The Super Eagles will be based in the historic city of Fez for their opening campaign. They are slated to begin their quest for a fourth title on December 23.
