Nigeria’s Clinical Performance Sees Them Cruise to a Convincing Victory Over Tunisia
Nigeria secured a commanding 3-0 victory against Tunisia in their second Group C match of the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) 2025, continuing their strong start to the tournament.

Lookman then added to his assist tally, providing a perfect corner for Wilfred Ndidi to score Nigeria’s second goal just after the break.
The Atalanta winger completed his stellar performance by scoring Nigeria’s third goal, after being set up by Osimhen in the 69th minute.
Despite some early frustration from Tunisia, who failed to capitalize on a few opportunities, Nigeria dominated possession with 70% and created numerous chances.
The game saw tensions flare up in the second half, but the Super Eagles’ dominance was clear.
Lookman’s two goals and two assists over the tournament’s first two matches have been a standout feature of Nigeria’s campaign, and they will be looking to build on this performance as they aim for the top spot in their group.
