According to report by Footy Africa, representative from his management agency, ROOF, confirmed that the negotiations with New York Red Bulls are “progressing positively.”

The versatile winger boasts an impressive résumé, having played for several top European clubs including Chelsea, Liverpool, Inter Milan, West Ham United, and Fenerbahçe.

He was also a key figure in Nigeria’s 2013 Africa Cup of Nations triumph and represented the Super Eagles at two FIFA World Cups.
