The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has announced a strategic partnership with Vivacity Group, a non-governmental organization, to support its Future of Work Initiative, NigeriaWorks 2030 — a national drive aimed at boosting innovation, entrepreneurship, and youth employment.
The collaboration will target key growth sectors, including the services and care economy, agriculture and agribusiness, creative and cultural industries, as well as technology and the digital economy.
During a courtesy visit to the NFF Secretariat on Tuesday, Founder and CEO of Vivacity Group, Oluwakemi Ann-Melody Areola, praised NFF President Alhaji Ibrahim Musa Gusau (MON) for his leadership, which she said has significantly enhanced the global standing of Nigerian football.
“Through your stewardship, the NFF has not only strengthened Nigeria’s international image but also nurtured homegrown talent and expanded opportunities for young people across the nation,” Areola said. “The unifying power of football, championed by your leadership, continues to drive national pride, foster social cohesion, and inspire youth engagement, while simultaneously opening pathways for innovation, entrepreneurship, and economic growth.”
She emphasized that the NigeriaWorks 2030 initiative is designed to equip Nigerian youth, professionals, and entrepreneurs with the tools and skills needed to remain globally competitive in the 21st-century economy.
In response, NFF President Gusau commended the vision behind the initiative and reaffirmed the Federation’s commitment to supporting impactful projects aimed at creating opportunities for young Nigerians, engaging professionals, and fostering national unity.
NFF General Secretary, Dr. Mohammed Sanusi (MON), also weighed in with strategic recommendations, offering critical path measures to help fast-track the initiative’s objectives and ensure its success.
