Two Super Falcons, Rasheedat Ajibade and Jennifer Echegini, featured on Saturday as PSG beat Nantes 5 – 2 to claim their first win in the Arkema Premier League.
An own goal from Maureen Cosson put PSG ahead, with two goals from Romee Leuchter and Merveille Kanjinga handing them a comfortable lead before half-time. Mbock Bathy scored the fourth PSG goal of the night while Florianne Jourde scored the last.
Nantes tried to reply with two goals from Maureen Cosson and Julie Rabanne, but it was not enough to save them for the night. Both Ajibade and Echegini were a big part of the solid performance put up by PSG.
Today’s win means that PSG move up to the second position on the table and are now on track to win the league title.
