The Nigeria National League (NNL) has announced a new date for its 2025 Annual General Meeting (AGM), which will now hold on Saturday, 13th September 2025, in Kaduna State. The meeting was initially scheduled for Wednesday, 10th September.
In an official communication to clubs and relevant State Football Associations, NNL Chief Operating Officer, Mr. Danlami Alanana, cited logistical reasons for the slight adjustment.
“We convey to you a warm sporting compliment from the Chairman, Board Members, Management, and Staff of the Nigeria National League. Our earlier letter dated August 14, 2025, refers. Due to some logistical considerations, a slight adjustment for the 16th edition of the Nigeria National League Annual General Meeting has been made,” the letter read.
The AGM is set to begin at 10:00 AM on the new date, with participants expected to arrive a day earlier on Friday, 12th September. Mr. Alanana extended apologies for any inconvenience the date change may cause.
Sources within the league suggest a significant sponsorship deal could be unveiled during the gathering.
