Since Nora Häuptle assumed leadership of the team, she has not spared efforts to instill the needed discipline, grit and team collaboration which are ingredients necessary for success and victory.

The advancement of Zambia in the tournament through to the knockout stage must have deepened its hope and dispelled fears of what can be achieved.

Expressing readiness and determination not to leave anything to chance by demolishing every obstacle, the Swiss tactician has this to say:

“We are in a comfortable position with five rest days now. It’s a chance to recover, refresh and observe closely. Whoever we face, we will be ready. If you want to reach the final and win this tournament, you need to beat everyone. So we will take whoever comes.”

Häuptle’s side is said to be one of the most Africa’s team with compelling and victimising attackers, Barbra Banda and Racheal Kundananji, both known for their goal-scoring dexterity.
