Eight-time Nigeria League champions, Rangers International FC of Enugu, have made a significant move in their squad rebuild, successfully signing former Lobi Stars FC winger, Oluwasegun Oloruntoba.
This acquisition signals the Flying Antelopes’ intent to challenge on all fronts in the fast-approaching 2025/2026 football season.
Oloruntoba, who recently concluded negotiations with the Enugu-based club, is expected to be officially unveiled soon alongside other new recruits who have committed their futures to the team.

The contract signing session, held at the club’s corporate office in Enugu, saw a visibly delighted Oloruntoba express his excitement.
The left-footed, 5’8″ pacy winger, who penned a two-year deal for Rangers was a prominent figure in Lobi Stars’ battle to avoid relegation last season, described his move to Rangers as a dream come true.
“This is a dream come true for me in my career. Rangers is a big club and I promise to be at my best to ensure we get our targets for the season,” stated Oloruntoba.
Under the guidance of coach Fidelis Ilechukwu, Rangers are meticulously assembling a formidable squad designed to comfortably contend for honors in both the NPFL 2025/2026 season and the President Federation Cup 2026.
The club is set to unveil more “great talents” in the coming weeks, further emphasizing their ambitions for the upcoming campaign.
