Former Delta State Football Association Chairman, chief Kenneth Nwaomucha, has extended his warmest congratulations to the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) President and the entire board members for their pivotal role in the Super Falcons’ record 10th WAFCON victory in the 13th existence of the biggest female football tournament in Africa continent.
Nwaomucha, a retired player known for his flashy style on the field, expressed his joy and admiration for the team’s remarkable achievement, particularly given the challenging circumstances of playing against the host country, Morocco.
Nwaomucha’s spirits were lifted by the team’s incredible comeback against Morocco, where they overcame a 2-0 deficit in the second half to win 3-2. He praised the Falcons’ coach, Justin Madugu, for his exceptional tactical acumen and timely substitutions that turned the game around in favor of the Nigerian team.
As Executive Assistant on Sports to the Delta State Governor, he attributed the NFF President’s success to his in-depth knowledge of the game and his willingness to listen to advice.
”The President’s understanding of football and his humility in seeking guidance have been instrumental in our team’s success,” Nwaomucha said.
“His leadership has created an environment that allows our talented players to thrive and make history.”
Nwaomucha’s praise for the NFF President and the Super Falcons is a testament to the team’s hard work, dedication, and perseverance. The 10th WAFCON victory is a milestone achievement that will inspire future generations of Nigerian footballers.
