CHAN 2024: Super Eagles B Target CAF Prize Money

Nigeria’s Super Eagles Team B will be buoyed by the decision of the Confederation of African Football (CAF) to increase the prize money for the 2024 African Nations Championship (CHAN).

The competition played by home-based players on the African continent will be staged in Kenya, Tanzania, and Uganda.

Hostilities begin on Saturday with the final scheduled for August 30.

Patrice Motsepe, CAF President, revealed the substantial increase in prize money as he reaffirmed the commitment of the continental football ruling body to rewarding excellence and raising the profile of the tournament.

The winners of the CHAN 2024 will earn $3.5 million – a significant increase from previous prize money.

Nigeria will face Senegal. Equatorial Guinea and Congo at the tournament.

Nigeria will be making a return to the CHAN after a six-year absence.
