As the team claims second place in the 2024-2025 league season
Nasarawa Amazons displayed quality at the 2024/25 Nigeria Women Football League (NWFL) Premiership Super Six, after playing 14 regular league season matches.
In Ikenne Remo, Ogun state, where the Super Six was hosted at the Remo Stars stadium, the Lafia Landladies arrived on the said arrival date. The draws were done on May 9, 2025, as the matches started in full force on the 10th May,
Matchday one (1), which took place on May 10, 2025, Nasarawa Amazons played a 2-1 victory over Naija Ratels of Abuja.
May 11 was a rest day for all teams participating.
On May 12, Match Day 2, Nasarawa Amazons played Bayelsa Queens in a 1-1 draw, which was the second match for the Solid Babes.
On May 13, Matchday 3,
Nasarawa Amazons won 2-1 against Rivers Angels, which opened the title race for the Amazons, with Akekoromowei Janet scoring the two goals in that game.
May 14 was another rest day for teams at the Super Six

Nasarawa Amazons were held in a goalless draw by Remo Stars Ladies, the host team, with a lot of goal-scoring chances missed.
May 16 was another rest day, which was the last resting day as Nasarawa Amazon topped the log with 8 points, Bayelsa Queens with 7 points, Edo Queens with 7 points, Remo Stars Ladies with 7 points, Rivers Angels with 4 points, and Naija Ratels with no points.
On the final Day, a win in the game would have crowned Nasarawa Amazons.
May 17, Matchday 5
Nasarawa Amazons pressed all out for a goal, but the Edo Queens held on tight for no goal was scored in the game after 90 minutes, which made Bayelsa Queens winning Naija Ratels FC 4-1 after coming from behind in the first half to be crowned champions of the NWFLPremiership 2024/2025 league season.
Nasarawa Amazons will have to wait for another season to fight again for the NWFL premiership title.
The team will return home to prepare for the President’s Federation Cup semi-final match against the same Edo Queens in Ayingba on Saturday, 24th May,2025.
