Osimhen Declines Juventus’ Offer

2 Min Read

Victor Osimhen has been said to have rejected an offer from a two-time Champions League Winner following Premier League clubs’ disillusionment due to his remuneration expectations.

The club’s interest in the Nigerian forward deepened with the anticipated impending departure of Dusan Vlahovic this summer.

Speculations suggest executing a deal over Osimhen is herculean and far-fetched, considering Napoli’s policy on selling to opponents. Notwithstanding, Juventus is posited to be resolute to brave all financial expenses necessary to gain Osimhen.

The disclosure of the 26-year-old’s rejection was made by a Turkish football expert, Bulent Timurlenk. According to him, “Osimhen has closed the doors to Juventus,” he said, per GsGazette. “European teams cannot pay him much anyway. If Galatasaray wants to buy Osimhen, they have to pay Napoli 75 million euros.”

The news has been confirmed by another Turkish football pundit, who disclosed that Fenerbahce debunked rumours of interest in Osimhen, reaffirming that the striker turned down Juventus.

“I asked 3-4 people from Fenerbahçe management, and they said Fenerbahçe has no initiative for Osimhen. They all denied it. The moment Galatasaray pays 75 million euros, they will deposit the money without contacting Napoli and finish the job. They say the player has rejected Juventus. I think his chances of staying at Galatasaray have increased.”
