Super Eagles’ legend, Ahmed Musa scored twice as Kano Pillars secured a 3-1 win over goal shy Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC) of Ibadan.
The Oluyole Warriors’ had themselves to blame for the loss as poor marksmanship robbed them of goals particularly in the first half.
The visitors dominated the first half of the Matchday 37 fixture, played at the Kano Pillars Stadium, but were too shy in front of goals.

It was a different ball game in the second half as Pillars punished the Stars for their wastefulness, with Musa scoring the first goal in the 50th minute.
Shooting Stars responded eight minutes later with Alex Aghahowa equalising but the jubilation was cut short almost immediately after the homers were awarded a penalty kick in the 61st minute.
Naziru Auwal made no mistake from the spot to restore Pillars’s lead, only for Musa to ensure victory for his side with a well taken third goal.
The Oluyole Warriors’ will round off the season on home soil with a matchday 38 fixture against long time rivals Rangers International of Enugu.
