The general manager of Plateau united football club of jos, Pius Henwan has commended people of the state,especially soccers fans for coming out in their numbers to cheer the team to victory against Mountain of Fire and Miracles in a top-of-the-table week 34 Nigeria Professional Football League tie at the Rwang Pam Stadium. Henwan who spoke through the media Officer of the club, Albert Dakup noted with satisfaction their support which galvanised the team to go all out against the Olukoya in a titanic clash at the Rwang Pam Stadium.
The General Manager particularly thanked the Local Government Management Committee Chairmen for their support in hiring buses to convey soccer fans to jos to cheer the team to victory, describing the gesture as a sign of love and brotherliness.
He equally used the occasion to appreciate the untiring efforts of the sports loving governor of the state and captain of the Redemption Team, Simon Lalong for his moral and financial support which has being the driving for behind their success and assured all that the team will reciprocate the gesture by winning two more matches in order to seal the title. 
The elated General Manager who was elated with the crowd never seen in more than 20 years, that turned out to watch the match, also used this medium to salute the support of critical stakeholders in the state for their unflinching support to the teach since the commencement of the season and appealed fo more till the end of the season and in the National Federations cup competition which kick-off across the country this weekend.
The1-0 victory has now made plateau united firm favourites to win the NPFL title as a two more wins will see them crown champions for the first time in the club record.
