Malam Farouk Yarma

The Secretary of Gombe United FC advisory board Malam Farouk Yarma received the players shortly after Management/players meeting in GUFC camp with team’s technical adviser Manu Garba and some members of Supporters Club in attendance.

During the meeting in his Executive office of the Ministry of Youth Empowerment Gombe, he stresses that the main reason to camp outside Gombe is for the players to have full concentrations with the technical crew for an excellent output for their new NPFL 2016/17 season Matches among others.
Yarma who is also a Director of Nigeria National League (NNL) urged the players to be good ambassadors of the Club “Please be good ambassadors of Gombe United in Kaduna and utilized the camping opportunity to bring the best out of you, I personally donate the sum of N250,000 naira for the players and N50,000 for the technical crew for the camping.”



In order to boost the morale of the players, the football administrator make the following pledges for the upcoming NPFL 2016/17 season to the Savannah Scorpions:


1. The sum of one hundred and fifty naira (N150,000) for every away win
2. One hundred thousand naira (N100,000) for an away draw
3. Fifty thousand naira (N50,000) for a home win
4. For each goal scored, the scorer will earn twenty thousand naira (N20,000)
5. For every assist, the player earns ten thousand naira (N10,000)

In his reaction the technical adviser Manu Garba thanks the Youth Empowerment Commissioner for the kind gesture and also call for youths continue support to the honourable. The club Captain Sani Madu on behalve of the players and supporters club pray for Allah’s guidance and protection to the advisory board Secretary.
