The President of Freestan football club, Prince Efemena Elutabe has declared his supports for the several football development programmes of the Lagos State Football Association.
Speaking after the presentation of trophies for the Best Player and Highest Goals Scorer to the Chairman, Organising Committee of the Ekofootball Women Championship, Wale Joseph, he reaffirmed his commitment to the total development of grassroots football in the state.
Elutabe who was represented by Kingsley Utuedor, General Manager of the Lagos based side, further commended the laudable achievements and projects of the Lagos FA, stating that other well placed individuals and corporate organisations should rally in support of the efforts of the Barrister Seyi Akinwunmi led FA.
” On our part, we shall continue to support the efforts of the FA to develop football in the state, ” Elutabe said.
” I am particularly impressed by the efforts of the Lagos FA and l want to also advise that they don’t rest on their oars. As other states look up Lagos for ideas and leadership in football administration and development, ” he added.
