will organize the FIRST STEPHEN KESHI MEMORIAL LECTURE at the Conference Hall of the Petrol Station Workers Union Along Benin Auchi Road on the 7th of June 2017 by 11am
Late Stephen Keshi former Super Eagles Player and Coach, you will recall died in Benin on
the 7th of June 2016. Until his Demise, Keshi left a huge print on the sand of Nigeria and Africa Football with unmatched exploits both as a player and Coach, As a Player he captained the senior team, the Nigeria Super Eagles for more than a decade with an outstanding record of being one of the only two persons that has won the Africa Nations Cup, both as a Player and Coach
The First Stephen Keshi Memorial lecture, apart from being a remembrance event , will serve as a most veritable platform in highlighting and showcasing the unconfined contributions of Stephen Keshi to the overall development of Africa Football as well as promote his ideals and passions for the discovery and development of young talented Footballers
The Guest Speaker for the lecture, is Mr Mike Idoko, an astute Football Administrator, current chairman of Lobi Stars Football, and will be supported by other Personalities within and outside Football. The Memorial lecture is also part of activities engaged by the union to sustain the mometum of actualising the vision of immortalising late Stephen Keshi with projects such as the Stephen Keshi Football and Vocational Training Center in Obazuwa Edo State and the Proposed Stephen Keshi National Youth Football Tournament endorsed by the Nigeria Football Federation embarked by the Union
