Victor Osimhen’s future has taken another dramatic twist, with Galatasaray reportedly receiving a fresh €120 million (approximately ₦189 billion) offer from a Saudi Arabian club for the Nigerian forward.
According to Turkish transfer insider Serhan Türk, the Turkish champions are now weighing two separate offers worth €120 million each one from a European club and another from Saudi Arabia.
While the identity of the Saudi club has not been disclosed, the latest development further intensifies the growing competition for one of Europe’s most sought-after strikers.
The new bid comes amid increasing interest in Osimhen following reports that Atlético Madrid had previously submitted a €120 million offer.
Another unnamed European side has also been linked with a verbal proposal worth €125 million. Despite the mounting interest from both Europe and the Middle East, Galatasaray remain determined to keep hold of their prized asset.
Club officials reportedly view the Super Eagles striker as the cornerstone of their long-term project and have no intention of sanctioning his departure this summer. Rather than entertaining lucrative offers, the Turkish Süper Lig champions are focused on building their team around the Nigerian international.
Osimhen’s importance to Galatasaray has only grown following an outstanding debut full season in Istanbul. The 27-year-old delivered an impressive return of 22 goals and eight assists in 33 appearances across all competitions, playing a pivotal role in the club’s successful defence of the Turkish Süper Lig title.
The club’s resolve has reportedly strengthened further with Mauro Icardi expected to leave, a move that would elevate Osimhen to the undisputed leader of Galatasaray’s attack.
Reports suggest club president Dursun Özbek has placed a €150 million valuation on the striker and is unwilling to enter transfer negotiations despite the significant offers already received. Galatasaray are also believed to be preparing a new long-term contract that would keep Osimhen at the club until 2029, accompanied by an improved salary package.
Beyond financial incentives, the club is reportedly prepared to reinforce Osimhen’s status within the squad. He could be handed the captain’s armband following Icardi’s anticipated departure and entrusted with the iconic No. 9 shirt, further underlining his central role in the club’s future plans.
Galatasaray are also said to be working on strengthening the squad with the addition of a top-class midfielder as they seek to compete more effectively in the UEFA Champions League, with Osimhen expected to lead the next phase of the club’s ambitions.
Although clubs from the Saudi Pro League have previously been willing to offer the Nigerian forward contracts reportedly worth more than $50 million per season, Osimhen has consistently been linked with a preference to remain in European football. The Premier League has also continued to feature prominently in speculation surrounding his long-term future.
