Nine fixtures were played on Wednesday, January 7, 2026, with four away victories highlighting the competitive edge and growing intensity of the league.
In Lagos, FC Robo Queens maintained their perfect start to the season with a hard-fought 1–0 victory over debutants Ahudiyannem Queens. Opeyemi Ajakaye struck within seconds of kickoff, a goal that proved decisive as the Lagos side recorded their fifth consecutive win, the longest active winning streak in the division. Ahudiyannem Queens remain in search of their maiden top-flight victory.
At Iyahmo, Osun Babes claimed a crucial 1–0 away win against Confluence Queens, deepening the hosts’ early-season struggles. Naimot Kazeem’s composed finish in the 62nd minute secured maximum points for the visitors.
Former champions Rivers Angels delivered one of the standout performances of the round, recording a commanding 3–0 away victory over Adamawa Queens in Makwada. Forward Abasiofon Uwah was the star of the show, scoring all three goals in the second half to register the first hat-trick of the season.
In Ikenne, Nasarawa Amazons brought Remo Stars Ladies’ unbeaten run to an end with a gritty 1–0 victory at the Remo Stars Stadium. Ayatsea Hembafan’s early strike in the 11th minute, which ricocheted off the post before crossing the line, proved the difference.
Elsewhere, Abia Angels secured a comfortable 2–0 win over Sunshine Queens, with goals from Ekezie Onyedikachi and Winner David. Delta Queens also impressed at home in Asaba, defeating Dannaz Ladies 2–0 through goals from Amarachukwu Onuorah and Rita Tsebee.
Defending champions Bayelsa Queens edged Ibom Angels 2–1 in a fiercely contested South-South derby. First-half goals from Kesiena Ojiyovwi and Janet Akekeromowei proved decisive despite a spirited second-half response from Helen David.
In Abeokuta, Ekiti Queens, playing at their adopted home ground, recorded a narrow 1–0 victory over Naija Ratels FC, with Ismail Zainab scoring the winner in the 73rd minute. The only stalemate of the round came in Ibadan, where Pacesetter Queens and Heartland Queens played out a goalless draw.
