The Super Eagles of Nigeria have stepped up preparations for their Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) 2025 semi-final encounter against tournament hosts Morocco, as focus sharpens on Wednesday’s decisive showdown.

Fresh from an impressive 2–0 victory over Algeria in the quarter-finals, the three-time African champions are keen to sustain their momentum as they enter the final phase of the competition.

Following the win in Marrakech, the Nigerian delegation has finalised its logistics and will relocate from Fez to Rabat on Monday.

The team is scheduled to depart Fez at midday, with arrival at the Rihab Hotel Nigeria’s official base in Rabat expected before 3 pm. The early arrival is designed to allow players adequate time to rest and recover ahead of evening activities.

As part of preparations for the high-stakes encounter, the Super Eagles will hold a closed-door training session at 6 pm on Monday at the Complexe Mohammed VI.

The technical crew, led by head coach Eric Chelle, has opted for privacy as the team fine-tunes its tactical approach for the clash against the Atlas Lions.
