Super Falcons forward Asisat Oshoala continued her fine form in the Saudi Women’s Premier League, scoring her fifth goal of the season, but it wasn’t enough to prevent Al Hilal from suffering their first league defeat of the campaign, a 3–1 loss to Al Nassr last Thursday.

Fresh off international duty with Nigeria, Oshoala made an instant impact, putting Al Hilal ahead in the 9th minute after a slick one-two with Portuguese forward Jéssica Silva. But the hosts couldn’t hold on as Congo’s Ruth Kipoyi equalized before halftime, and Clara Luvanga of Tanzania struck twice in the 60th minute and stoppage time to complete a dramatic comeback in Riyadh.
