Nigeria’s Edna Imade came back to haunt her former club Granada, scoring twice as Real Sociedad battled to a 2–2 draw in a pulsating Liga F encounter on Saturday.

Granada struck first in the 35th minute through Sonya Keefe, who converted from the penalty spot after a handball in the box.

But Imade responded just seven minutes later, latching onto a perfectly timed pass from Intza Eguiguren before calmly slotting it home to make it 1–1 going into halftime.

Imade Delivers Late Drama

With the game finely poised, Imade once again showed her sharp instincts in front of goal, finishing off Andreia Jacinta’s assist in the 87th minute to give Sociedad the lead.

However, in a heartbreaking twist, Maria Barquero netted a stoppage-time equaliser for Granada to ensure both sides shared the points.

Imade’s Rising Influence The 22-year-old Nigerian forward, on loan from Bayern Munich, has now scored four goals in seven Liga F appearances for Real Sociedad this season.

Saturday’s result keeps Sociedad in third place on the Liga F table with 14 points from seven matches.
